Measurement of inland navigation vessels
Our surveyors perform thousands of measurements on inland navigation vessels per year. All of those are strictly carried out as per the convention on the measurement of inland navigation vessels concluded at Geneva on 15 February 1966.
Barge gauging is always carried out using proper barge measuring sticks. We have also developed our own wave dampening system in order to be able to achieve accurate measurement results in adverse weather conditions.
As barge gauging in our region is always carried out on rivers near the sea, water density measurement is of the upmost importance in order to achieve an accurate cargo weight figure. Our surveyors are therefore equipped with the best possible water density sampling equipment and density hydrometers.
